Faking It: New foiling techniques without the foil

I really like the first and third image/techniques, the third being my favorite..I love dimension in reds. But that second image...eeegads...looks like somebody took an exterior house paintbrush dipped in shoe polish and slung it at her head...(notice back towards the crown, the big, gloppy chunk of what looks to be black hair...ewww just not for me I guess
