CURL HAIR USING CERAMIC STRAIGHTENERS PART 2

Following on from our popular \"How to curl hair with Ceramic Straighteners\" article, in this article we show you 3 more ways to recreate the latest styles; this time with a pair of the latest curved ceramic straighteners and in just 3 steps!


Look 1 of 3: Creating \"The Flick\" (ala Madonna) with Curved Ceramic Hair Straighteners

Step 1

Lift a section of hair, position the rounded edge of the ceramic iron toward your client\'s face and close it around the hair.


Step 2

Draw the ceramic iron along the length of the section,

As you reach the last one-to-two inches of the section, flick your wrist away from your client\'s face to create the flip at the end.

Slide each section of hair between the plates of the curved ceramic straightener an inch away from the scalp.


Step 2

Keep the curved ceramic straightener open and wrap the hair around the rounded plate.


Step 3

Once you have wrapped all of the hair around the iron, clamp, hold for five seconds and release.

Start by spritzing a section of hair with Hair Spray and running the iron down the length of the section.
At the top of the straightened section, press down firmly with the iron.




Step 2

Move the iron slightly, and lift the section up to create a strong dip.




Step 3
Image

Rotate the iron in the opposite direction and press, pulling the section downward. Continue working in this three-step pattern along the length of each section.
