Post subject : a few questions. Ok, I'm almost on completion of my NVQ level 3 and I work in a small salon. My boss isn't the best business person and the way she sometimes manages things seem very wrong to me, but is it any of my business to inform her on these things or should I just leave it to her and I know she'll take what I say personally and feel as if it's an attack to her business. NONE of our electrical equipment at work has been tested, is this a legal requirement? Also, a client called on Saturday and asked for her colour notes as she's unable to pay our prices at the moment - my boss told her point blank she won't do that and well me and her had a slight disagreement on that as I thought and still think that clients are legally intitled to have their colour notes - not over the phone obviously but in person? Isn't that part of the data protection act. My boss was very very rude to me after I very calming stated my views as this is what I've been obviously taught as part of Level 2 and 3 whilst it's definately been a good few years since she did her qualification. Also, holiday entitlement for those on commission? They should get pay an average of their last 12 weeks wages for the time they are off? I only recently read this one in a magazine but should I mention this as I know this one does affect me, but don't want to seem like I'm trying to prove her wrong on things and for her to take it personally? Thanks, any help would be appricated! Daniel Post by Bolinho| < Prev | Next > |
