Post subject : anyone ever watched/own the sassoon ABC dvd?
if so u may know the answer to this question, u know after they finish the cutting... they refer to 'wrap drying' to give natural root lift. they show it being done with a hairdryer and a brush but the technique seems random, or maybe i'm missing something? does anyone know the technique behind the wrap drying? it seems they just brush the hair against the direction of growth and place the dryer at the root is this right? they then smooth it all out by working on individual sections and curl it in at the end which seems normal. if you know which technique i'm reffering to, can u answer me this..... in the salon environment can this technique be used on a client after finishing a cut, so you dont have to do the traditional method of having to section the hair, and still count as a blow dry? i have tried it on my training head and it took less time to do and the result looked wicked! just not sure whether you could use this method instead of the conventional one in the salon.
