Alright. I finally found the book that took me back to step 1 in haircoloring. yeah , I did a total review after 20 some odds years of standing behind the chair.

The book is called

The Art Of Hair Coloring
By David Adams and Jacki Wadeson

This book starts you out right at the beginning of the haircoloring world. What it is about from basic apps to creative touches. This book is for student, trainers and professionals alike.

In fact, The article that Chris posted about the foil free highlighting technique is in this book.

The book that I think sums up what we do is Susie Fields book for stylists called 'PASSION'.
it is all about what it takes to be a success as a Stylist.excellent advice.
Strategies 'FAST FORWARD' by Neil Ducoff.Everything you need to know about running a business.
Anything by Marcus Buckingham.
My best pick? 'Leadership and Self Deception' by the Arbinger Institute. A must for every owner.

Sparkles..I went and found my book "passions" by Susie Fields. I sat there trying to figure out how I came up with the book...then it cliked with me. I went to her seminar. WOW...It was a great one.

A new working business manual is now available. If you're a stylist or a salon owner this manual will give you invaluable information about how to better recognize information within your salon or behind your chair and use it to grow your business. "Business Manual for Salon Owners and Stylists" has been the rock on which my entire professional career was based on. It shows you how to create goals and measure your progress. Results Oriented Planning is the name of the process and I recommend this manual highly to everyone. When you finish reading the manual and fill out the worksheets you will have a working business plan for yourself individually or your whole salon. Visit their website at http://www.southeastsalondynamics.com for more information. Be sure to see the last page of the website. It has many excerpts to see. Good Luck and Mery Christmas
