Each section would end up looking like a sausage made of cloth with no hair visible. I've always wondered how she did this. Have any of you guys seen this? I don't know if it's the same...but basically my Mom curled our hair like that when we were kids. And she said that all they had to curl their hair with rags when they were kids, because they had nothing else.
