They're all over the place at the minute. All those girls who had hair extensions are losing the length and asking for shape. Very formal 1940's hair up styles are also making a comeback. I'm glad about that because I prefer those styles to the "twists and spikes" of 5 years ago. What's hot in your area? Been doing them for about 6 months or so. Love doing them. What about mens cuts and styles? faux mohawk is the rage right now here. Anything new on the horizon? my youngest and a group of his friends decided they were going to get rid of their long shaggy looking hair this last summer. So being the son of a stylist, he Thought he knew what the faux mohawk was all about and got all the boys over at my house while I was gone and they gave each other haircuts. walk in to piles of hair all over my kitchen floor and every one of them had real mohawks, not faux.! It was hilarious. He is graduating this year and I am sending the pics into the school to be put into the yearbook.!! It got replaced with a very tidy gelled side parting for a while (ala 1930's) and now it seems we're at the mid length floppy haired stage again. Perhaps we've discovered something interesting here? Those bobs you guys are doing have only hit on over here in the last 3 months. Up until then (and for the last 3 years), almost every woman under 30 wore her hair long or had hair extensions. It seems that you are ahead of us in the woman's styles and behind us in the mens. You know what I would love to see make a comeback? Perms! It's been so long now since we did perms. We're lucky to do even one every 3 months. I am so tired of foil highlights that I would galdly go back to one process color with a perm; just for the variation if anything!
