I have always used Jaguar scissors anyway. They come with a lifetime guarantee, and whenever they need sharpening or rebalancing etc., I just send them off to Jaguar in Germany, and they do them for free. I only pay for the postage. Each time, it's like getting a new pair of scissors back. I wouldn't dream of paying the ridiculous amounts of money we pay for scissors, and then bugger them up by sharpening them myself.
