Its been over here for awhile in theater and on the screen. I personally haven't seen it but to hear from clients and friends that it is excellent!

Well, I would definitely recommend that you go see the film! It's a real feel good film.
My female friend who came with us actually said that it's the best film she has ever seen.
All the girls were crying at "the winner takes it all", and "slipping through my fingers" sob sob
And put it this way...after the film, every single person in the cinema actually sat and watched the credits! I have never seen that happen before.
But if you HATE Abba, then I would recommend that you give the movie a wide berth LOL.
P.S. Also, it's not the story of Abba (a few people were surprised when I told them that). It is a story/musical about a young girl in Greece who is searching for her biological father, as she is getting married and wants to be given away.

I'd give it 8.5/10.

Thought the movie was fantastic. A few years ago I saw it on the stage, and there is nothing better than a stage performance put to film and done well. I laughed and teared up and laughed some more. I think if you enjoy musicals anyone should see it!!

Well when i was just a little girl i loved Abba, Raphaella Karra and Boney M.
So Mamma Mia is one of the films i will see in the near future. Plus this film shows the beauty of the Skopelos island. It is a great place you should visit.
