I am willing to start even at the lowest position that any of the salon job as long as it is outside the Philippines. Its just i am exhausted in many things including personal matters. I also want to explore and to gain more knowledge in hairdressing that is why i am looking for a job abroad. I have been working as a hairdresser for 8 years including my 5 years of being a free lancer or self employment. I am also waiting for my license as NC-II or National Certificate II in TESDA Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, NC-II because here in the Philippines at the moment that is just their highest level of qualification offered yet. I graduated a 3 months certificate of Cosmetology( hairdressing) last December 1998 and have multiple seminars and trainings in a respected organizations and companies here in the Philippines eg; Wella, Schwarzkopf and other local products and organization. My only problem is how to get employed and got an employer for me to able to start as soon as possible and my only assurance is i am easy and willing to trained and will do multi task and the employer wont really be embarassed upon hiring me. I need some advice what do i need to have and to do to get a job and qualification specially abroad. just send me mails in my inbox here... 1. 17-07-2008 05:26 Good luck If your hoping for a job in the U.S., requirements and hours of training differ a little from state to state, so first you need to figure out what state your wanting to move to, then contact the state board of barbering and cosmetology in that state to see what they require and if your training in another country will count or if youll have to go through beauty school in the U.S. I am licensed in California and Colorado,I have worked in both South Korea and Germany also, I didnt have to go back through school but in Germany I had to appear before the council to obtain my permit to work there. I wish you the best of luck with your career! 2. 24-09-2008 13:31 diploma in hairdressing hey ive just started a hairdressing course and theres so much work involved, loads of stuff to print of ect. has anyone done this course? and if you have if you know of any helpful sites for info, or what made it easier for you. thanks 3. 24-09-2008 13:31 diploma in hairdressing hey ive just started a hairdressing course and theres so much work involved, loads of stuff to print of ect. has anyone done this course? and if you have if you know of any helpful sites for info, or what made it easier for you. thanks Only registered users can write comments.
